Tonight JTH and I watched the WWE’s presentation of RAW as I had heard rumors that the Von Erich family would be announced as inductees to the WWE Hall of Fame. While the Von Erichs were not announced, WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper (left) did make an appearance. Both JTH and I felt that he currently resembles Michael J. Fox. Sadly, the physical effects of Parkinson’s Disease do not appear that much different than a career in professional wrestling.

Does anyone else think that Connecticut Senator Joe Lieberman (left) resembles Conrad Bain (the dad from television’s Diff'rent Strokes)? (Note: Conrad Bain is the Caucasian male in the photo.)

While watching the Tennessee basketball on Wednesday night, JTH expressed that he thought Arkansas junior Michael Washington (left) resembled NBA player and actor Darius Miles. What do you think?

Last night at MoFoS, a group, including JTH (left), played Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. NHH’s friend GAV commented that “Johnny Napalm” (right), a character who represents the punk genre of music, looks very similar to JTH sans the liberty spikes. They certainly do cut the same silouette.

Tonight, JTH had ALK watch the debut of Jeff Dunham's Very Special Christmas Special. We all agreed that Dunham's sidekick "Guitar Guy" Brian Haner (the guy on the right in the picture on the left) looks a lot like actor Matthew Lillard.

While watching the World Series, I have noticed a striking resemblance between Philadelphia Phillies’ right fielder Jayson Werth and WWE wrestler Edge. I am evidently not the only one as I found this image online. No word on how many long-term relationships Werth has broken up...

Forget Hulk Hogan. "Macho Man" Randy Savage has developed into the real "Santa with Muscles". (Sorry to remind people of the horrid Hogan film.)

Savage has been out of the public eye for some time. Despite substantial offers, Savage has no interest in appeaing at autograph signings or reunion shows. He seems content taking care of his parents in Florida.

In the movie Felon, Val Kilmer (left) looks very similar to Jeff Bridges in his role as “John Smith”. The critically claimed film was released on DVD on August 12th.

University of Tennessee junior college transfer Bobby Maze (left)looks amazingly like NBA star Allen Iverson. When I asked him if this was intentional, he said the he was Bobby Maze and could not have been born planning to look like A.I. He then noted that he and his cousin (who flanked him the entire evening) just like cornrows. Tyler Smith laughed as Maze, though polite, seemed to take offense at the comparison. I was pleased as in the absence of Duke Crews and Ramar Smith, UT is in desperate need of a thug.

For some reason during the Braves' baseball experience it occurred to me that my lifelong pal WCM has grown into looking like Braves' pitcher John Smoltz. It may be that they are both just tall, bald, and posing with attractive women. (WCM is engaged, I am not hitting on his woman.)

Last night while I was at dinner with Couple X, a discussion of the NBA ensued. During this chat, Ms. X referred to San Antonio Spurs power forward Robert Horry (left) as the player who looks like Will Smith (right). Do you agree?

Horry set an NBA record by appearing in his 238th playoff game during Game 5 of San Antonio's series against New Orleans on Tuesday night.

Last night, I attended the Franklin Graham Festival. The opening insert of the program featured a welcome from Executive Committe Chairman Bo Shafer (left). I am not sure that someone did not misplace Shafer's photo and substitute a photo of American talk show host Phil Donahue (right). The resmeblance is uncanny. If this whole "Executive Committe Chairman" venture does not workout, Shafer has a great career ahead of him as a Donahue impersonator. I hear there is a great market for that right now too.

While watching the Tennessee-LSU basketball game, Mr. X noted that LSU star center Sylvia Fowles greatly resembles the title character from the 2002 movie Juwanna Mann (Miguel A. Núñez Jr.). The premise of the film is that a basketball star is banned from the NBA when his on-court antics go too far, so he poses as a woman and joins the NBA's women's counterpart, the WUBA. Ouch!

I feel the need to insert some disclaimer here, so I will note that Mr. X's comments do not necessarily reflect mine as (thankfully)I have never seen the film.

While watching the Tennessee-LSU women's game, I thought that Tennessee women's superstar Candace Parker (left) would make a great (albeit really tall) Mowry sister (right). The Mowry twins (Tia & Tamera) are best known for starring on their own sitcom "Sister, Sister."

Actor James Franco (left), best known for his role in the Spider-Man series of movies is the spitting image of influential indie rocker Jeff Buckley (right). I hope that he will one day play him in a biopic. Buckley(1966-1997) died at age 30, drowning in Wolf River Harbor, a tributary of the Mississippi River. No drugs were involved in his death.

As an aside, Buckley's haunting rendition of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah" is one of my all-time favorite songs. You can listen to it on YouTube here. Buckley's critically acclaimed 1994 debut album CD "Grace" is now on sale at Wal-Mart for only $6.88 and is well worth the investment.

While watching ESPN highlights, I noticed that Dirk Nowitzki looked like a really tall Philip McKeon (right), who played Tommy Hyatt on the TV series "Alice" (1976-1985). McKeon was 6'2" to begin with. McKeon's sister Nancy also starred on "The Facts of Life." Both also shaved off their long hair and both were wrong in doing so.

While I do not know many people familiar with both people, I do think Dirk is a throwback to the 1970s.

For some reason, KJW had her hair styled like Cameron Diaz in There's Something About Mary. For once regarding a girl's hairstyle, I can honestly say she really did just wake up looking like that.

While watching them perform on Thursday night, I could not help but notice that Meat Puppets' bass player and vocalist Cris Kirkwood presently resembles former Monkee Mickey Dolenz. I am thinking he would definitely hate the comparison!

The character of Leroy Brown (David Mann) in Tyler Perry’s stage play Meet the Browns eerily resembles 1990's professional wrestler Mo (Bobby Horne) from the tag team Men on a Mission (MOM). The film version of Meet the Browns will open in theaters on march 21. MOM held the WWF (now WWE) tag team championship for two days in 1994. Mann is on the left and Horne on the right.
