Prayer Blog - 8/18/2008

17-year old Karns High School student Eric Richard Law died this morning after a freak accident suffered around 2:40 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13th. Law was thrown from the back of a 1995 Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck that slowed suddenly to allow another student to board. He fell out, striking his head on the pavement. The accident occurred in the parking lot of Byington-Solway Career and Technology Center next to Karns High School.

Law was one of four students in the bed of a pickup truck driven by another student. The group was helping students move furniture from one part of the campus to another under the supervision of their shop teacher when the accident happened.

Mr. X's younger half brother was the driver of the truck.

Pray for all involved in this tragedy.
