RAW’s grandfather PEW was declared legally blind yesterday (5/1). This means that he will be prohibited from driving. He did not take the news well and accused his daughter of colluding with his opthamologist. I attribute this to denial.
PEW has had a very difficult year as his wife died and the hospital he worked years to build has disbanded. Everything that has defined him most of his life is gone. Please keep his family, and especially PEW, in your prayers.

I learned last night that PEW has told members of our church that his license was revoked as he got a DUI! This obviously not true but I suppose it is telling that this great Christian man would prefer to be thought of as a drunk driver than a blind man. Please keep he and his family in your prayers during this difficult time.
