RAW applied for a promotion within Best Buy as a television calibrator. He has long made it known that if the local franchise created this position, he desired it. The job was posted the minimum of four days (it does need to begin soon) and it was only by chance he found out about the opening. He applied on Tuesday and his employer scheduled him for an interview the following day (his day off), but did not tell him. A friend called him and he was able to make his Wednesday appointment. He was told that he would be notified on Thursday whether or not he received the job but was with his partner when he was called. He was instructed to call back later when he was alone, but when he did, no one answered. He should find out soon. All involve admit he is obviously the most qualified applicant, but it would cause a greater organizational shakeup for him to be moved as he is valuable where he is. Though he has grown accustomed to the company’s politics, it would be a blow if he did not get the position. Keep him in your prayers.

I learned on Sunday night the RAW did not get his promotion, being once again passed over for a less qualified applicant. This has more to do with management not wanting to reassign him. This is still very frustrating for him. Keep his working conditions in your prayers.
