Inveterate
Inveterate means settled or confirmed in a habit, practice, feeling, or the like.
The Gospel of Luke lets the reader know that Jesus was an inveterate Synagogue attendee. (Luke 4:16)
And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up; and as was His custom, He entered the synagogue on the Sabbath, and stood up to read. (Luke 4:16, NASB)
Note: This painting ("Jesus in the Synagogue") was created by Anton Robert Leinweber (1845-`1921).
